SDG 13 Climate Action

Climate Action aims to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. For an engineering institution, climate action is essential for developing awareness, sustainable technologies, climate-resilient practices, and responsible environmental behaviour among students and staff.

Jai Shriram Engineering College is committed to promoting climate action through awareness programmes, tree plantation, energy conservation, environmental campaigns, and student activities related to climate change. The institution encourages students to understand climate risks, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve energy and natural resources, and explore engineering solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation.

The college believes that engineering education has an important role in addressing climate change through innovation, research, sustainable infrastructure, and community engagement. By promoting climate awareness, environmental responsibility, and practical solutions, Jai Shriram Engineering College supports the vision of SDG 13 – Climate Action and contributes towards a climate-resilient and sustainable society.
