Many wise persons in the history had a very good sense of humor. For example, Albert Einstein who was a great physicist and scientists presented many of his scientific ideas in a healthy humorous way. For example:
“Falling in love is not at all the most stupid thing that people do – but gravitation cannot be held responsible for it”
“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer”
See, how wisely he did humour. So we can say that humour and wisdom are the two qualities which can live together and together they can present very smart ideas, can talk smartly and can invent the smart things.
Fine Arts and Humor Club of JSRGI was started in the academic year 2009-10 with members of all our first year B.E/M.E&MBA Students, to educate and to entertain via various club activities. “Good humor is one of the preservatives of our peace and tranquility." Our club is a group dedicated to promoting all aspects of fine arts, including graphic design, visual art, dance, music and theatre. It is the goal of the fine arts and humour club to bring an active awareness and appreciation of the fine arts on campus and in the community of Engineering. FAHC aspires to build constant working relations within JSRGI and the surrounding communities.
The fine Arts and Humour Club strives to provide opportunities for active awareness of the Fine Arts for students and community, and to build a working relationship for creative outreach among the institutions and the local community. In addition to the activities of the Fine arts association, students are encouraged to take part in competitions held outside the campus. Intercollegiate competitions are held on campus and these help in increasing understanding and co-operation.
